Create a lead

From a conversation:
  1. Open a conversation in the inbox.
  2. In the right panel, click Create lead.
  3. Fill in the lead title and estimated value.
  4. Choose a stage and assign an owner.
  5. Click Save.
The lead is linked to that conversation so all message history is accessible from the lead detail view. From the Leads board:
  1. Go to Leads in the sidebar.
  2. Click New lead.
  3. Search for or select a contact to link the lead to.
  4. Fill in the title, estimated value, currency, stage, and owner.
  5. Click Save.

Move a lead between stages

Drag and drop — drag the lead card from one column to another on the Kanban board. From the detail view — open the lead, click the Stage dropdown, and select the new stage. Every stage change is recorded in the lead’s activity log with a timestamp and the user who made the change.

Reassign a lead owner

  1. Open the lead detail view.
  2. Click the Owner field.
  3. Select a different team member.
The previous owner is recorded in the activity log.

Attach messages to a lead

If a conversation contains messages relevant to the lead, you can attach them as evidence:
  1. Open the lead detail view.
  2. Click Attach messages.
  3. Select the messages from the conversation thread.
  4. Click Attach.
Attached messages are visible in the lead detail view for context during reviews.

Close a lead

Move the lead to the Won or Lost stage to close it.
  • Won — deal closed, revenue realized
  • Lost — deal did not proceed
Closed leads remain on the board but you can filter them out using the stage filter to keep the active pipeline clean.

Delete a lead

Open the lead and click Delete. Leads are soft-deleted — the record is hidden but the linked conversation and contact are not affected.

Funnel stats

Click Funnel at the top of the Leads page to see:
  • Lead count per stage
  • Total deal value per stage
  • Drop-off between consecutive stages
Use this to identify which stage has the most stalled deals and where to focus.
