Create and send a broadcast
Name the broadcast
Enter an internal name for the broadcast (not visible to recipients). Use something descriptive like “June promo — existing customers” so you can identify it later.
Choose a template
Select an approved template from the dropdown. Only templates with Approved status are available.If the template has variable placeholders (
{{1}}, {{2}}), you’ll fill them in for each recipient in the next step — or you can use a template without variables for a fixed message.If you don’t have an approved template yet, create one first. See create a template.
Select recipients
Choose how to target recipients:
- Contact list — pick a saved list
- By tag — select one or more tags
- All contacts — send to everyone in the workspace
Fill in template variables (if any)
If the template has placeholders, enter the values to use for all recipients. At this stage, the same value applies to everyone — for personalized values (e.g. each person’s name), use a template where the variable comes from the contact’s name field.
Monitor delivery
After sending, the broadcast status changes to Running. Open the broadcast to see:- Summary stats — total sent, delivered, read, failed counts and percentages
- Per-contact status — scroll through each recipient to see their individual delivery status
