Before you begin

You need a WhatsApp Business API account through Meta. If you don’t have one yet, see connect WhatsApp for what to prepare.

Set up WapNotify

1

Create your workspace

Go to wapnotify.com and sign up. During signup you’ll create your workspace — this is your company’s isolated environment where all conversations, contacts, and team members live. You’ll be the workspace Admin by default.
2

Connect your WhatsApp number

Go to Settings → WhatsApp Setup and select Manual Setup. You’ll need four values from your Meta Business account:
  • Phone Number ID — the ID of your registered WhatsApp phone number
  • Business Account ID (WABA ID) — your WhatsApp Business Account ID
  • Access Token — a permanent or long-lived system user token
  • Webhook Verify Token — a string you choose; used by Meta to verify your webhook endpoint
Paste each value into the form, then click Save & Validate. WapNotify will check the credentials against the Meta API.For a detailed walkthrough of where to find these values, see connect WhatsApp.
3

Invite your first team member

Go to Settings → Team and click Invite member.Enter their name and email address, then assign a role:
  • Admin — full access including settings, billing, and team management
  • Agent — access to conversations and contacts based on role permissions
The invited user will receive a login link by email. You can create custom roles with granular permissions at Settings → Roles.
4

Send your first message

When a customer messages your WhatsApp number, it appears in Conversations automatically.Open the conversation, type your reply in the message box, and press Send.
You can only send free-form messages within 24 hours of the customer’s last message. After that window closes, you must use an approved template. See the 24-hour window.
To proactively message a contact, open their contact record and click Send template.
